The Community Champion Award recognizes coordinating teams who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to engaging and inspiring their local community by creating fun, accessible, and inclusive opportunities for the public to get their hands on science at their local Science Rendezvous events.

STEAM Green Award

The STEAM Green Award recognizes individuals and groups who make up the coordinating team responsible for creating outstanding Million Tree Project activities and events as part of this 10-year Canada-wide experiment.

Creative Award

The Creative Award recognizes individuals and groups who make up the coordinating team responsible for creating an outstanding Science Rendezvous event, engaging the community, and contributing to the national organization.

Outstanding Volunteers

Science Rendezvous would not be possible without our passionate and dedicated volunteers. Nearly 6,000 researchers, undergraduate and graduate students make these events come to life each year all across Canada. Meet some of the top coordinators and exceptional volunteers at each event site, as nominated by their peers.
