- January/February:
- Compile list of contacts and recruitment methods
- Listservs, clubs, student organizations, course class lists, departments, local organizations (i.e. Libraries, community centers)
- Emailing, social media promotions (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit), class announcements
- March/April:
- Send out volunteer recruitment emails
- Open up volunteer applications (keep it open for ~4 weeks)
- Application Mid-March to Mid April
- Late April/Early May:
- Host volunteer training sessions (1-2 weeks before the festival)
- Day-Of:
- Supervise all the volunteers
