Where People and Science Meet – here on Main Street!

York University will again join forces with Main Street Markham to present this exciting free science festival in combination with the opening day of the 14th Annual Award-winning Farmers’ Market! Farmers’ Market starts at 8am.

York University scientists and researchers will be on site all day to answer today’s most burning questions, and present exciting hands-on science experiments! Get your hands dirty side-by-side with some of the leading scientists in Canada! Come pet a comet, walk on water, see robots race, make a DNA banana necklace, learn about unbreakable bubbles and more!!
